Sears Tower is the tallest sky scraper in the United States of America. If the Twin Towers were still standing they would be a close second, but they’re not so it doesn’t even matter. too bad sucka. The Sears Tower was the tallest sky skraper in the world until Japan decided to build something taller. Ther’s nothing larger in the U.S.A except for Texas(and Alaska doesn’t count ). BOOYAH!!! You are very naive and ignorant. Chicago invented the Skyscraper. You need to study your history. The idea came from the need for space. Downtown Chicago was prime real estate and was very expensive. Investors began building up instead of out. This gave birth to what we now call Skyscrapers! It, along with most things originated in the Windy City, Chi-town!!
