with the confirmation of the top 5
carley smithson clearly did not make it into that 5 . but why ?
top 6 performances kicked on tuesday seeing almost everyone except brooke white and jason castro singing well that night .
so why is carley out ? , she is one of the most well deserving contestant to be there , with great vocals and good performance , she should have been in top 2
sorry idols , u have just made a big mistake .
What should have been out was either Brooke or Jason

but yet we say goodbye to another great in idol ,

Carley was one of the best vocalists I have ever heard and lost the vote because someone else got voted in for sympathy’s sake. I’m sure the other girl could sing better if she stuck to “fluffy” songs, but I felt no pain in her song and no sympathy for her nervousness. Carley owned her song, while the other one was no Madonna. Someone, please sign Carley up,…you go, girl!!!

I too believe Carley should have been saved. Jason Castro or Brooke White should have been voted off. Again America got it wrong. I wish Carley the best and will buy her first CD when it comes out.
